Just got this reminder email about the Domino Bazaar, I am going on Thursday so I WILL blog about it, hopefully with pictures. I'm excited about the design consultations, I'm moving from a two bedroom here in New York to a Studio in San Francisco so any advice from a pro would be welcomed with open arms!

The smart, eclectic (and discounted!) selection of home furnishings, accessories, artwork and more will be beautifully showcased in stylized-yet-shoppable vignettes (Bedding, Dining, Children / Baby, Home Office, Bath / Vanity, etc.) in an airy 20,000 square foot venue, and all items will be 10 - 40% off retail.

Some of THE DOMINO BAZAAR’s special features will include:

FREE EXPERT-LED CLASSES including flower arranging, kids’ crafts, “green” decorating, impromptu party planning, how to hire a decorator and more.

ANTIQUE MARKET to include items collected by Ames Ingham and Nathan Turner including vintage maps, Suzani and Ikat Textiles, an early 18th Century Spanish testle table, and mid-century chrome dining chairs cleverly recovered in pink linen. Turner will be on-hand to show shoppers what value and authenticity clues to look for when pondering a purchase.

ACRIA ART GALLERY featuring new editions and unique works donated by major contemporary artists including Jack Pierson, Jeff Lewis, Christo, George Spencer and Jeanne-Claude, all at special low prices. All proceeds from the Gallery will benefit ACRIA (AIDS Community Research Initiative of America.)

FREE ONE-ON-ONE DESIGN CONSULTATIONS during which interior design experts from domino and Ethan Allen will look at photos, floorplans or simply answer questions to help solve decorating crises from floor to ceiling and wall to wall.

A BEAUTY BAR offering free blow-outs throughout the weekend.
