Warbux Mopeds
Matt's been really into the idea of getting a moped lately. Apparently Mopeds are starting to come back into fashion in Chicago. Warbux Mopeds in Bucktown is probably hugely responsible for the moped renaissance, they fix up old ones and sell them at reasonable prices. But Warbux is also worth looking into for radness alone: The Sun-Times wrote, "the bikes that come out of Warbux are punk machines, smothered in neon paints, labors of love by an actual moped gang called Peddy Cash." Mopeds from Warbux start at $500. I love the idea of bigger than a bike, smaller than a motorcycle and something that's got a real personality to it. Check it out: 2123 N. Milwaukee Ave.
