I'm off early tomorrow for Santa Fe on a press trip to check out the new Auberge resort, Encantado. I'm really looking forward to it, especially because the last time I was in New Mexico (about nine years ago) the design communities were still experiencing the tail end of the 1980s-1990s Santa Fe Living/Ralph Lauren design boom and I'm curious to see how it's evolved since then. I've heard there has been quite a change with a more modern art scene elbowing its way in among the tourists and turquoise. I'll be back on Monday with a full report!
