I had a wonderful day walking around Andersonville this afternoon—what a great Chicago neighborhood! Later this week I'll elaborate more on the neighborhood but right now I'd like to focus on Scout, my newest favorite store. I can't tell you how much I love the "scout aesthetic" that Larry Vodak has cultivated over the years. The store isn't too big but you can easily get lost looking around at all the urban antiques, flea market finds, family treasures and contemporary pieces. Larry Vodak is passionate about scouting and he believes Scout is for anyone that shares his passion for the search and a love for all things found. It's a great mix and a wonderful shopping experience—I think I'll be back this weekend because my eye caught more than a few items. My favorite pics below. If you live in Chicago or are visiting anytime: Scout is a must-visit. 5221 N. Clark St. Thanks Larry!
