Kristian Vedel birds

Matt and I saw these Danish beauts at the OK Store and spent too much time re-arranging their heads and bodies and laughing. If you move their heads around they can change their expressions from devastated to alert to happy, to my personal favorite: suspicious. These wooden birds were originally designed in 1959 and have recently been re-released. The birds come in three generations of family (three sizes) and they all can be mix and matched—really explore the possibilities with these birds. They're all hand made by a small wood turner in Denmark. $45-$69 by clicking here.
