Romantic, hazy neutrals

Everytime I redecorate my bedroom, I always seem to come back to a creamy, neutral palette with lots of white (always white linens), with touches of lavender and muted blue. I always
find these colours so relaxing and inviting. It's fresh, but with a little more moody
undertone after dark.

Fabulous Spaces 12.6.09

I'm drawn to the drama in this glamourous, romantic space. The black sofa with bright, jewel toned cushions and warm classical carpet are an unexpected surprise within the otherwise white and pastel palette. It's all pulled together beautifully with the gold leaf scones and coffee table and dramatic sun mirror behind.

A private escape...

There's something so romantic about this space - the thatched roof, the billowing shear netting - and to top it off - a pot of tea on hand and a great book... this is a little piece of heaven!

Romantic Home in Norway

Second post today. And in stark contrast to the all masculine home I posted earlier today, I take you to Norway to see this romantic and feminine home.
