Seeing stripes...
Whether it's a smaller accessory or accent, or a large scale overall pattern - there's nothing quiet about black and white stripes. The perfect balance between bold and understated - at once they grab your attention yet there's nothing complicated about their message. Straight, clean uncomplicated lines in the clearest palette possible.

Warm fall florals
When it comes to flowers, far too often autumn can be neglected in favour of summer and spring, however, it boasts one of the most rich, vibrant natural spectacles imaginable. Bright, flamed coloured leaves, the grass still a lush green, beautiful wild flowers in yellow and purple, and everywhere you look sunny, potted chrysanthemums welcome us at the door. When it comes to prints and patterns, again bright florals don't always jump to mind for autumn, however,
I'm convinced that they provide the perfect dose of sunshine
to keep you warm and cheery through the winter.

Bold + Delicate florals
I instantly fell for these bright, vibrant floral prints in beautiful light, sheer fabric by Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø (found at one of my favourite blogs, beauty, ). Instantly impactful but still possessing a transparent, ethereal quality that reminds me of delicate flower petals. I think these beautiful shots would be stunning blown up and used as art - an energizing shot of colour against an all white interior.

Off the wall
I generally shy away from wallpaper or the idea of a pattern over a large space. Lately I've been toying with the idea of a fun coloured paint or a vibrantly patterned wallpaper in our small entrance hall. It could be a great way to make a powerful first impression and not be too overwhelming. I love these gorgeous patterns from Trove wallpapers. Their soft, muted tones and almost ethereal imagery would be the perfect welcome home.

Pink + Chevron
I love the combination of pale pink and white in this graphic chevron print. The combination is strong and bold, yet soft and understated all at once. Seems like the perfect combination of modern and feminine.
