At last.. it's peony season...

... and I'm in love - with delightful shades of pink , delicate ruffles petals and soft diffused light. The world seems a prettier place, and I am happier for it.

Hope this weekend you get a chance to relax and enjoy something pink!

Dreamy, creamy neutrals

Generally it's customary to start the week off with a bang! and go for bold, bright colours to add a jolt of energy - today I'm craving a softer approach as I slowly ease myself into the week ahead...

Soft light and dreamy pastels have an ethereal, luminous effect.

Soft pastels play against each other in this romantic bedroom in Martha Stewart's guest house.

Cupcakes that look like they were plucked right out of a jewelry box - far too pretty to eat!

Just the prettiest stationery around - only happy things to be written in here.
I've been coveting this for a while...

Is there anything more lovely than full, fresh pink peonies? I can't think of anything at all...

Hope your day brings you a little bit of magic ...

A Rose-tinted glow

Warm, rosy neutrals are so inviting when the air is brisk outdoors, but the sun is streaming through the windows. Pale pinks and creams, especially combined with rich golds have such a rich, elegant tone. Cozy neutrals and peachy pink tones make the combination cozy and inviting. If you're not into the typical Fall palette of greens, browns, oranges etc, pale pink combined with cream and tan tones and gold accessories makes the perfect, sophisticated alternative. Ruffles, scallops and rosettes add a bit of fancy detail.

Pink + Chevron

I love the combination of pale pink and white in this graphic chevron print. The combination is strong and bold, yet soft and understated all at once. Seems like the perfect combination of modern and feminine.
