Modal Sheets
Have you discovered Modal sheets yet? They are super soft sheets made from the fibers of a Beechwood tree, they do not pill and are resistant to shrinkage and fading. Also, because of they're incredible softness a 250 thread count does not mean it's the same as a regular sheet of the same thread count, Modal will be much softer and silkier.
Target has some deals going on on these beautiful chocolate brown Modal Sheet sets, get them while you can, the sizes are going FAST!

Early Christmas
Hopefully for me anyway.
I just discovered that Jonathan Adler has done a line for Barnes & Noble.
I'm not sure when this happened but looks to be recently, perhaps just this month.
Here's a blurb from Barnes & Noble's site:
Go here for a short video from Jonathan. Here's a few of the items, which are reasonably priced and oh-so-chic.

Dear Santa,
I've been kinda good this year.
Perhaps you, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny can work a group gift.

You can find it here. I'm not sure if you usually gift from the Gap Santa but maybe you could make and exception this year. I promise to wear a helmet and obey all traffic laws.
For apartment dwellers or lazy homeowners
A pendant light fixture kit for recessed can lights.
For $33.95 you can get a base (shade not included) and use your own shade or choose from one of their own from a decent selection at Worth Home Products.
Perfect for those of us who can't make permanent changes.
Pictured below is their "Brushed Nickel Retro Shop Light"...not bad at all.

Fruit Bowl
I love fruit bowls, they're an excuse to have a another pretty, otherwise useless decorative bowl or plate on your counter.
Today I've rounded up a few that I like and hopefully you will too.
Since I am a total klutz I will categorize them as the damage I would most likely inflict on them:

Thanksgiving
The Fall Pottery Barn catalog arrived today, I am always completely drawn in to their catalogs, I love the set decorations and the warmth they exude.
Here's a few of my favorite things:
(Clockwise from left: Botanical Accent Lamp $40-$70, Carved Wood Vessels $39-$69, Bronson Bookcase Sconce $79-$138, Kantha Patchwork Quilt $39-$249)
I love that bookcase sconce, what a genius idea, wish I'd thought of it.
This picture is from one of their "Small Spaces" displays, there's no actual Pottery Barn item I want pictured it's another product.

On the right side of the desk tucked behind the laptop, the hand crank paper shredder. I found it on ebay. Often I'll find a clock or some random item in one of a catalog' s vignettes and I must have it. Does this affliction happen to anyone else?
Design For Bodies.
Simple is best, No matter what the topic is.
May I present to you the little black dress of watches:

Despite the fact that it's a Man's watch, I think the design is better overall than the women's version. The women's version is tapered and has a smaller face. The men's has straighter lines and seems bolder. It's got large numbers and with the black strap it's a simply beautiful black and white watch.
