Early Christmas

Hopefully for me anyway.

I just discovered that Jonathan Adler has done a line for Barnes & Noble.
I'm not sure when this happened but looks to be recently, perhaps just this month.

Here's a blurb from Barnes & Noble's site:

Jonathan Adler introduces an exclusive line of happy, chic stationery and gift items. Barnes & Noble is offering online and in 400 stores nationwide the Jonathan Adler for Barnes & Noble line of products. Jonathan Adler's colorful and contemporary style using his signature blue and brown colorway with a variety of bold graphic patterns is represented in these reading and writing gifts designed exclusively for Barnes & Noble.

Go here for a short video from Jonathan. Here's a few of the items, which are reasonably priced and oh-so-chic.

New from Jonathan Alder

A porcelain candle holder, from his "Muse" Collection, which I'm sure can be reused as a vase or small bowl for odds and ends.

$65 at Jonathan Adler

Owls

I love owls, and I love owl art, it lends it's self so wonderfully to geometric shapes and designs.

Here's a collection of some of my favorites:

(Owl Jewelry from Reformed Jewelry $66-$143)

(Owl paperweights from Tortise Life $45 )

(Owl Print from Etsy $8)

(Owl Figures from Jonathan Adler $24-$110)

(Owl Print from Etsy $35)

OMG

So I just found out, minutes ago that Bravo has a new show that debuts TONIGHT about The Parker Hotel in Palm Springs. It will be about hotel staff and all the goings on of the hotel and appreances from Jonathan Adler himself. How on earth did I miss this?

See what I mean about being a trendsetter? I just blogged about the hotel (I think I've met my quota of blogging about Mr. Adler this week, I'll have to refrain as not to seem like too much of a groupie)

So check out the article here and Bravo's site for it here. It's on tonight at 10pm on Bravo and starts it's regular time slot Thursdays at 10pm on August 2nd.

Jonathan Adler Art

I just discovered Jonathan Adler's prints, check them out here. They're a bit pricey but very cool.

Jonathan is also doing a line of frames for Larson Juhl, I can't find them on the website but I did see an ad for them, which of course I can't find online.

The Parker Hotel

I'll be in Los Angeles in the fall and I'm trying to find a way to work Palm Springs into the trip Solely for the purpose of staying at The Parker.

The hotel was once Gene Autry's Melody Ranch, Then owned by Merv Griffin. A couple years ago Jonathan Adler was brought on to do the interior.

This is the reason I want to go, I am a Adler Junkie, I love him. Not only is there 13 acres of beautifully manicured land but 5 star restaurants, tennis, luxury spa and the room service is delivered on bikes with carts, how great is that?

Check out the photo tour here.

Jonathan Adler

Do you love him? I do.
I'm a little late to the game with this post but he's got some great new stuff.

Mr. Adler just had a warehouse sale at his Soho store, I couldn't go but my husband went in my place (yes my noble spouse went in my place, without compliant and he even said he had fun). There were great deals to be had and I added to my collection with some great $3 plates.
